“No matter what type of business you’re in, good customer service is vitally important,” Kay Rabbitt-Brower, executive director of the Okmulgee Chamber of Commerce, said. “That is why the Chamber is sponsoring a customer service seminar entitled Amazing Customer Service to help identify and teach good customer service skills.”
The seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 29 in the OSUIT Student Union meeting rooms. It begins at 2:30 p.m. and will conclude by 4 p.m.
Debbie Mason, marketing director with Redbud Physical Therapy will lead the training.
“Debbie is high energy and a lot of fun,” Rabbitt-Brower said. “She focuses on teaching employees and staff how to provide quality customer service for the many Redbud Physical Therapy locations. I’m sure attendees to this training will not only learn good customer traits and practices, but will enjoy the event also.
“The Amazing Customer Service seminar is free and open to the public, Rabbitt-Brower said. “You do not have to be a member of the Chamber to participate in this training.”
Athough there is no registration cost, the Chamber is asking participants to RSVP, so there will be enough hand-outs for all attendees.
“We’re excited to offer this training which we hope is beneficial to currently employed individuals and people looking to enter the work force,” she said.
