Grayson Gumbo Festival Is Saturday

Mayor Leon Anderson of the Town of Grayson, invites the public to attend their annual Gumbo Fest this Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. The festival is the town’s main fundraiser to help maintain the town’s annual obligations. Besides the good food, there will be a raffle, bounce house for the children, socializing and other vendors. The event will be held at the Community Center, 24160 Martin Luther King. File’ Gumbo is $10, Seafood Gumbo $14, and both are served with rice, your choice of homemade cake, sweet potato pie or peach cobbler and a drink. Vendors can call 918-652-3909 for space rental.
