The Henryetta Lady Knight fastpitch softball team saw their bid for a second-straight state tournament appearance fall by the wayside Wednesday evening in Dewey. The Lady Knights dropped back-to-back contests at the Class 3A regional tournament Wednesday, falling to the Tahlequah Sequoyah Lady Indians by a 6-0 margin in their opening contest of the 4-team, double-elimination, tournament, then were on the losing end of a 5-1 decision to their District 3A-7 foes, the Holdenville Lady Wolverines, in the loser’s bracket semifinal round.
