Those of you that read my column regularly know my family does a lot of work every year for a large Halloween bash we throw at the VFW Post 1189 here in town. Well, Saturday Oct 23rd is the date for this year’s party. Come join us at 6 p.m.! While I don’t know yet what next year will bring, I do know we are going to throw one heck of a party in Dad’s name this year. That being said though, I am super busy preparing for the party so dinner this week couldn’t be any elaborate affair. I decided to prepare a large batch of meat and prepare simple meals based off the meat I fixed.
