One of the questions asked most often, at least on social media here in Okmulgee is, “what, as a town, are we doing for our youth?” I will tell you - in my opinion, there are already lots of leaders stepping up and offering community activities on a consistent basis - Randy Jackson and John Neal are two that quickly come to mind - but there’s also church youth groups that offer a lot for our teens and younger kids. All that aside, what I get excited about is when someone comes and offers a solution instead of a complaint.
