VFW Post 1189 Announces Voice of Democray Contest Winners

Okmulgee VFW Auxiliary #1189 President Carol Smith and Commander Guy Duckworth presented the cash awards to Okmulgee High School Speech students participated in the VFW’s Voice of Democracy Contest. Other participants included Justice Holman, Zavier Thierry and Faith Deatherage. Adason Mathis was awarded first place and will advance to the state competition. She is pictured above with Auxiliary President Carol Smith and Commander Guy Duckworth.
