We all remember or, at least, have heard or read of the great en masse migration of the Okies to California during the Dust Bowl years, but rarely do we hear of nor experience a Californian becoming a full-fledged Okie. But that’s the story we heard at Tuesday’s Okmulgee Lions Club meeting, presented by Bill Springman, who has recently been added as Okmulgee High School Assistant Baseball Coach.
