After a stormy, windy weekend, many of the Christmas trees set up around the lawn of the Council House were knocked over. On Monday, Muscogee Nation employees worked to put the trees back up, and other business and organizations with trees were informed about the ‘chaos.’ By the afternoon, most of the trees were restored to their upright position, this time, more secure. The trees will be lit up for the upcoming Festival of Lights Parade to be held tomorrow evening through downtown. PATRICK FORD
