Members of Conversion Ministry Church are preparing for a special dinner and event today. The church, led by Pastor Greg Richardson, is holding a New Year’s Eve Watch meeting, from 6-8 p.m. Before the meeting, there will be a “gumbo before peas” served beginning at 4:45 p.m. Ready to try out some gumbo are Claudette Richardson, left and Tracy Wallace, right, as Misty Wallace puts the final touches on the dish. There will be a variety of testimonies and fellowship during the meeting, including a guest speaker, Rev. Justin Fields. The church is located at 1330 East Martin Luther King Dr. The public is invited to attend, eat some gumbo, and share in the fellowship.
