The public is invited to the Okmulgee Community Playhouse “Open Mic” night event this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Orpheum Theatre, 210 W. 7th. Admission is $5. Director Fay Tipton is looking for more entries to share your talent, whether it be storytelling, poetry, stand-up comedy, singles, dues and acoustic instruments. There is a time limit of 3-5 minutes maximum and all materials should be PG. A sound system and piano will be provided by the Playhouse.
