At a recent banquet, the Wilson Volunteer Fire Department honored recent retirees John Ritter and Kenneth Billbe. Chief David Kennedy says while both men retired after their many years of service from their respective roles, both men remained firefighters. “We are so thankful for their continued dedication to this department as well as the Wilson Community members they serve,” Chief Kennedy said.
