Big Cussetah Methodist Church in Morris held their Annual Wild Onion Dinner this Saturday feeding dozens of church members and others in the surrounding area. The menu included fresh, home cooked wild onions, ham, fried chicken, salt pork, fried pork, fried potatoes, chicken and dumplings, corn on the cob, beans, fry bread, sofkey, grape dumplings and dessert. Church members began serving guests just before 11 a.m. with food running out just before 1 p.m. The family of Connie Harjo, Administrative Assistant for your Okmulgee Times, assisted in preparing much of the food served.
