Rev. Jackson to step down after 63 years at First Baptist Central

This Sunday will be both joyful and bittersweet for First Baptist Church Central. Rev. Preston W. Jackson Sr. will give his final sermon as pastor. Built in 1915 at the corner of First and Central Streets, this structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
