Tim Lawson, Director of Law Enforcement for the Okmulgee County Criminal Justice Authority, right, is joined by Deputy Director Christopher Cook as they announce the promotion of Aaron Swayze to the rank of Captain. The pinning ceremony was held last Thursday during the OCCJA board meeting. Swayze has previously worked in the Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office, and was a canine officer also.
