The Muscogee Nation held a ribbon cutting ceremony for their new Behavioral Health Facility located one mile East of Okmulgee on Highway 62. The new 6,000 square feet facility is geared towards expanding the Muscogee Nation’s therapeutic and counseling services as well as focus on rehabilitation and restoration for those battling with mental health. Plans have already begun to expand the campus to further provide for the Muscogee citizens in need of Behavioral Health assistance. Joining Principal Chief David Hill at the ribbon cutting ceremony were Second Chief Del Beaver members of the National Counsel as well as Secretary of Health Shawn Terry. MELISSA HEMINOVER
