A busy slate of activities began this week as the Class of 2022 for Okmulgee and other area high schools began. This evening, Beggs High School will hold their commencement exercises. On Wednesday, the Okmulgee High School seniors were treated to a breakfast hosted by the Okmulgee Lions Club at the Community Center; followed by the distribution of caps and gowns and the senior walk through Okmulgee Primary, Dunbar, High School and Administration Building. A class picnic was held in the afternoon at Harmon Field. This Sunday, Baccalaureate will be held at 2 p.m. at Okmulgee’s First Baptist Church. Graduation for Okmulgee High will be Saturday, May 21, 8 p.m. at Harmon Field. Pictured are the Salutatorians for the Class of 2022, Kaden Ballard, Raynee Howell and Ryley Balius.
