I’ve always found it interesting that when a ball is thrown, kicked, or batted in the direction of some unsuspecting people, that “Heads up!” is yelled out. Even funnier is their reaction. They duck their heads down instead of looking up. Apparently “heads up” means “protect yourself ” instead of lifting up your head to see what’s coming.
