Highway named after Okmulgee Marine

A portion of an Okmulgee roadway has been named in honor of a resident who died in Vietnam. State Highway 56, just west of North Wood Drive, and continuing one mile through the city limits has been designated “Navy Cross Recipient CPL Russell Keck Memorial Highway.” There are two signs marking the designation.
