In honor of National Peace Officer’s Week, the Okmulgee Walmart provided a bountiful lunch for several area departments, including the Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office and the Okmulgee Police Department. Walmart Manager Deanna Hewitt presented a special plaque to the departments recognizing them for their work. The OCSO had enough food to share with the Okmulgee County Jail administrators and 911 Communications. Pictured from left are County Emergency Management Director Tim Craighton, OCCJA Executive Director Shannon Clark, Sheriff Eddy Rice, and OCSO Deputies Jason Dawson and Payden From. The departments thank Walmart for the food and recognition. PATRICK FORD
