Tuesday's Okmulgee Lions Club meeting in "Bulldog Country" must have seemed right at home to our guest speaker, State Auditor & Inspector Cindy Byrd, because of her tenacious nature to follow the law to perform her duties. Another animalistic nature that comes to mind might be akin to a snapping turtle whose bite is rumored to last until the sun goes down. In other words, she is doing a fantastic job in accounting for taxpayer's funds and exposing those who choose to commit fraud to embezzle and subvert the law.
