After a one-week delay due to rain, the Okmulgee County Back to School Bash went off without a hitch on Sunday around the downtown square. Clearview Baptist Church has spearheaded this free event for the past four years, and with the support of various community organizations, schools and churches, there was lots of family fun at the event. There were carnival games, hot dogs, walking tacos, snow cones, cotton candy, a dunk tank and inflatables for all to enjoy. Free school supplies were distributed for those in need; along with gift cards worth over $1,000 to various winners.
