Plans outlined for cleanup of former peanut plant

A community meeting was held at Hawthorne Park Oct. 5 regarding the old Kist Peanut plant and the plans for the site clean up. Representatives from Occidental Petroleum Corporation OXY, Glenn Springs Holdings a subsidiary of OXY, and Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) were there to answer any questions regarding the operation.
