PEO Chapter Z of Okmulgee were educated on Eco-Link by Billy Been and Amy Nix. Pictured above are Vice President Dana Sigmon with Billy and Amy at Sherri Powell’s home. Members were eager to learn more about Eco-Link and how it’s improving internet service throughout the Okmulgee areas. REC is ahead of its timeline on installation and services in our area. Below, at a recent meeting, Maggie and Madelyn Amador shared their Water Conservation Project. As 4H members, they check the water in Okmulgee Creek for contaminants monthly. They also told of the bug surveys they do through a water app. Okmulgee Creek has been consistently healthy. Members were reminded that poisons, fertilizers and other chemicals wind up in the creek. The meeting was held at the home of Margie Bemis.
