And They’re Off!

Though Saturday morning was a little chilly, participants and supporters showed up for the Okmulgee Primary School 5K Fundraiser. Pictured are participants in the run as they leave the starting lineup. OPS Staff Dawn Wallace and Ashley Green spearheaded the event, and Okmulgee Primary was able to raise $4,566.68. A big thank you to all registered participants and donations and the following businesses for donating: Sonic, CP Kelco, First National Bank & Trust, Mabrey Bank, The Refuge, ClearView Baptist Church, Miss Mary’s Market, Midge & Millie’s, Drew Santine - State Farm, The Hub, Jeremy Roberts - Edward Jones and Weleetka Drug. Supporters of all ages participated in the event, including OPS teacher Bailey Janway, her husband Garret and their little one. See additional photos on page A8.
