An Okmulgee man was arrested after a shooting incident last week.
Okmulgee police responded to the 1000 block of N. Ohio in reference to a female caller who stated her boyfriend was shooting at her, with gunfire striking her vehicle, according to the court document.
When the officers arrived, contact was made with the victim, who stated multiple shots were fired at her from a handgun.
The OPD made contact with the subject, identified as Antonio DeJuan Thierry, 37. With permission to search the premises for a firearm, officers located a .40 caliber gun, along with recovering two spent shell casings.
Thierry was placed under arrest, and a background check revealed he was also a convicted felon.
He was taken into custody on complaints of possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction as well as shooting with intent to kill, and assault with a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $75,000.
Thierry is due for an initial appearance in Okmulgee County district court on April 17 at 1:15 p.m.
