“Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” (Psalms 34:19) These words are truth. The righteous, the saved, the faithful - whatever name you give to believers - all have troubles and woes. We live in a world full of danger, sickness, and death, and there isn’t anyone spared from any of it, no matter what. We all occupy the same planet. The longer we’re here, the more people there are, barring catastrophic global events. The difference between the believer and the unbeliever, however, also lies in these same words.
