The Unity Club will hold a benefit spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Friday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Okmulgee Elks Lodge, 701 S. Mission in Okmulgee. Tickets are available in advance for $10 or at the door for the same price. The meal includes spaghetti, garlic bread, drink and dessert. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Unity Club, which has helped many with various addictions and recovery. The organization has been in existence for about 40 years, and is located at 1201 N. Griffin in Okmulgee. Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. seven days a week, 365 days a year. The non-profit organizations rely on donations to keep the facility open. The Unity Club is struggling to keep their doors open and seeking any assistance from the community, and appreciates all the support from the community in their fundraising efforts. “We appreciate whatever help we can get,” President Leo C. “Anything helps.
