“The Lunch Ladies” Return

The Okmulgee Summer Meals Program began Monday, for all children 1-18 years of age, to be able to receive free lunch. Pictured are Kersten Brown, Margaret Payne, Nikki Potts and Kallie Rodgers at Okmulgee Municipal Park next to the YMCA. Families enjoying the park were able to walk over, grab a lunch and enjoy their meal. Meals are available at Hawthorne Park, N. Okmulgee Ave. & W. Fairfax, Monday – Friday; and the Okmulgee YMCA pickup times are from 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. Both locations will be closed May 29 for Memorial Day.
