Despite the extremely hot weather this week, members of the Okmulgee Fire Department were practicing cutting and extraction techniques earlier this week on an old Buick Electra 225 at Holleman’s Iron and Metal. The ongoing practice keeps firefighters up-to-date on their life saving skills. A new member of the department was able to get some hands-on time with the equipment.
