Another eventful Pancake Day fundraiser for the Okmulgee Lions Club has come and gone, like sand slipping through our fingers. But we owe a big thank you to all who came, and all those non-Lions who volunteer their time and skills to make up for those of us non-cooking Lions (like myself). Pictured are Larry Jobe, Lion Kelly Baehler, potential new member Morgan Alexander of First Family Federal Credit Union, Lion Larry Howell, Melissa Parchman of the Chamber of Commerce, potential new member Kenneth Kuykendall of Neal’s Furniture, who says I can cook these pancakes with my eyes shut and my hand in my pocket; and Dennis Northcross of the Muscogee Nation Lighthorse. Not pictured but also volunteering for the past several years is Ed Johnson, Okmulgee County Assessor. Thanks to the Okmulgee Times for furnishing the placemats for the tables. We’ll see you again in March.

Lions Club Pancake Day a Success
