The 2023 Dripping Springs Living History Encampment and Mountain Man Rendezvous will open to the public on Friday and Saturday, with attendees getting a first-hand look at how life was in the 1800s. There will be demonstrations involving black powder shooting, primitive archery, fire making, Dutch Oven cooking and tomahawk and knife throwing. Public visitation is Nov. 10-11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $2 for ages 12 and up, and children 11 and under, military and first responders are free to enter. Donations are appreciated.
