5th annual Dodgebrawl Tourney returns Saturday
A night of Fun, fundraising, and flying dodgeballs returns to Okmulgee High School’s Brock Gymnasium this Saturday.
The 5th annual Neal’s Dodgebrawl Tournament kicks at 6 p.m. at Brock Gym. This adult dodge- ball event, a staple in the community, promises an evening of adrenaline- pumping action, entertainment, and charitable giving.
Organized annually to support the local school system, Neal’s Dodgebrawl has become a cornerstone of community involvement, raising over $25,000 to date, all of which directly benefits Okmulgee Public Schools through teacher grants.
Apart from the fierce dodgeball competition, attendees can look forward to a range of activities for all ages. The gym will be transformed into a bustling hub of excitement with a full concession stand offering favorite food and drink options. For those with a sweet tooth, a live pie auction will add a delectable twist to the evening.
Families are encouraged to join the festivities, as the event will feature a dedicated Kids Area, ensuring that even the youngest members of the community can partake in the fun. Additionally, participants and spectators alike will have the chance to win exciting prizes through the “Neal Deal Shot” – an opportunity to showcase their skills and luck.
Organizers express their gratitude for the overwhelming support from the community over the past four years and invite everyone to join in the fun for a memorable night of sportsmanship, community spirit, and giving back.
“This event is not just about the thrill of dodgeball,” John Neal Jr. said. “It’s about rallying together as a community to make a positive impact on our local education system.”
John Neal Jr. is creator of the fundraiser and owner-operator for Neal’s Homestore, and a Okmulgee High School alumni.
Admission is only $1, but be assured of an evening full of excitement, laughter and a sense of community pride.
Neal’s Dodgebrawl Tournament is not just an event; it’s a tradition of giving back that Okmulgee can be proud of.
Don’t miss out on the action - see you at Brock Gym on Nov. 18!
