August 27, 1942 – December 3, 2023

Madeleine D. Blackwell, resident of Okmulgee, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 81 years of age. She was born August 27, 1942, in Los Angeles, Calif. to the late Meryle D. and Evelyn (Provon) DanBrun. She married Franklin Earl Blackwell on October 30, 1964, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Frank Cameron Blackwell, James Scott Blackwell and Sean Dale Blackwell; sisters, Renee Suchnick and Loraine Heath; and three great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2023, at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Okmulgee Cemetery.
