Jason Price to take helm next year
Following several months of interviews with various candidates, the Henryetta Public Schools board selected Jason Price as the new superintendent. The action came during a special meeting Wednesday.
Price, currently the superintendent for Haworth Public Schools, will replace Superintendent Dwayne Noble who is retiring at the end of the school year.
Price is a graduate of Okemah Public School, and attended college at East Central University. He has a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Masters of Education Administration degree. At Haworth Public Schools since 2016 as superintendent, Price has also served as principal, athletic director, teacher and coach, and is a licensed minister and author.
He and his wife, Kathryn, who is a teacher, have been married since 1995. They are the parents of three children.
