October 24, 1946 – March 10, 2024

Billy Dewayne Stokes was born October 24, 1946, in Eureka, Kansas and passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, in Dustin. He was drafted in the United States Army and valiantly served his country during the Vietnam War. His patriotism continued through the years as he became the Commander of American Legion Post 144 in Dustin. His dedication to community shone brightly in his role on the Dustin Activities Council.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Dustin Cemetery, with Rev. Bob Wingo and Rev. Dan Johnson officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
