Frequent visitors to Rotary Park on Okmulgee’s east side will soon enjoy new amenities, following the city leaders’ approval of plans for several additions and improvements. The park, which currently features a swing set, covered picnic area, and splash pad, will see the addition of separate playground units for children ages 2-5 and 5-12, two contour park benches and four 32-gallon trash cans. The enhancements, totaling $66,775 - including freight and installation - will be funded by the Community Trust.
