Gaining wisdom. Why is it that doing so seems to cost us? Couldn’t gaining wisdom come to us a little easier and not have to be so painful? Instead, it seems we have to go through a few (maybe several) cases of putting our feet in our mouths before we learn to think before we speak. I’m surprised that some of us have actually survived despite some of the regretful things we have said.
