The 8th annual Harlan Ford Car Show promises to be bigger and better, with a fun-filled day planned Saturday, June 22.
The event, co-sponsored by Western Sun Federal Credit Union, kicks off as the gates open at 8 a.m. with ve- hicle check-in. Lots of beautiful vehicles, both old and new, including cars, trucks and motorcycles, will be on display. Judging of the entries begins at 10 a.m.
Prizes will be given for Best Mustang, People’s Choice, Best Overall and Best Motorcycle.
Events include:
• Cake Walk Fundraiser by Okmulgee Rotary Club
• Live Band – “Grasshopper”
• Food Trucks – Unhitched 918, The Bayou, Fry Daddy’s, Mamacitas Mexican Tacos and Coffee Gate
• Balloon and Caricature Artist
• Okmulgee County Humane Society Pet Adoption Drive
• Raffle and Prize Giveaways This year, all proceeds will benefit the Food for Kids Drive.
Also, local media personality Sunny Leigh and former OSU Head Coach and Sports Animal broadcaster Coach Pat Jones will be in attendance, signing autographs, taking pics and chatting with the car show patrons.
