In her poem, “He Giveth More Grace,” (later set to music) Annie Johnson Flint gave us these words, “He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater. He sendeth more strength when the labors increase. To added afflictions, He addeth His mercy; to multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.” Recently, we have been considering the wonderful gifts of God and it goes without saying that He is the all-time great Giver of “every good gift and every perfect gift,” (James 1:17). There is no way to exhaust His gifts for He “daily loadeth us with benefits,” (Psalm 68:19).
