The Showpiece of Okmulgee Band Camp has been going on this week, as members get ready for the upcoming marching season. Director Carl Stringer and assistant Matt Crabaugh have been working with the band members and color guard. Thanks to the community for the support for the camp by providing lunches and water for The Showpiece. An Okmulgee High School Band Parent meeting will be held Monday, Aug. 19, at 5:30 p.m. at the high school band room. All high school band parents and students are needed at this meeting, which will also include formal uniform checkout.
