On Monday, the Dewar Lady Dragons delivered a dominant performance, defeating the Rejoice Christian Lady Eagles 12-0 in a one-sided contest. Emma Bear was the standout player, contributing three hits in three at-bats, including a home run, a double, and a single.
The game began with a strong first inning for Dewar. Bear’s home run to left field drove in three runs, setting the tone for the match. Brooke Thomas followed with a single, adding another run, and Jaycie Berry executed a sacrifice bunt that brought in the final run of the inning.
Dewar’s offense continued to click in the second inning, where they scored five runs on four hits. Bear’s double contributed one run, while Emmy Hall and Kinsey Maldonado each had singles that brought in additional runs. An error by Rejoice Christian also led to another run for Dewar.
The Lady Dragons further extended their lead in the third inning. Temperance Parker singled, and Hall added another run with a fielder’s choice, bringing the score to 12-0.
