Jack Jewell will be performing live music at the Orpheum Theatre this Saturday, Aug. 17, at 7:30 p.m.
The performance will be Jewell’s first concert. The 21-year-old resident is one of Okmulgee’s most talented singers.
In addition to singing, he plays and can accompany himself on drums, guitar and piano.
Jewell graduated from Preston High School, where he was active in band.
During his Saturday evening performance, Jewell will be doing what he says is “the love of my life” – playing music with tunes from Sinatra, Elvis, Country, Contemporary, Broadway and more.
Jewell’s future plans include obtaining a degree from ORU and to continue playing music.
Admission for Jammin’ with Jack, presented by Okmulgee Community Theatre, is $7, and ages 12 and under are free.
The historic Orpheum Theatre is located at 210 W. 7th Street in downtown Okmulgee.
