The Lady Dragons’ offensive onslaught began with Emma Bear delivering a crucial single that scored one run. Emmy Hall further fueled the attack with a three-run homer to left field. Brooke Thomas and Kinsey Maldonado each contributed doubles, adding two more runs, while an error on the field allowed one additional run to score.
Dewar’s offensive barrage continued into the second inning, where they added five more runs. Thomas was involved again, hitting into a fielder’s choice that resulted in one run. Further contributions came from Maldonado, who doubled to score another run, Alyssa Baughman with a single, and Korbyn Anderson also with a single, each scoring runs. A dropped third strike extended the lead. In the third inning, an error provided Dewar with another run, bringing the total to 13-0.
