Trash-Off Day this Saturday

Do you have trash to get rid of?

Okmulgee citizens are reminded that a Free Trash-Off Day at the Okmulgee Landfill is this Saturday.

The event is for City of Okmulgee water and sewer account holders only. Participants must show a current utility bill and identification to use the service.

Hours are from 8-11:30 a.m. and gates will close no later than 11:30 a.m.

The Okmulgee Municipal Landfill is located at 17480 S. 270 Rd. in Morris, off Hwy. 62.

Items that will not be accepted include tires, barbed wire, chain link, other metal fencing material or anything with refrigerant.

Don’t forget to take advantage of the Bulky Item Pickup Service. Call Okmulgee Public Works at 918-7564159 for information.

The last Free Trash-Off Day of the year is planned Saturday, Dec. 7.
