Schools, businesses and organizations across the area gathered to honor our nation’s veterans through a series of heartfelt celebrations and programs. Students got to hear from local veterans and community members like Mike James (above left), who spoke to students at Okmulgee Primary, and Tristan Walker (above right), who addressed children in Morris, sharing messages of gratitude and service. The Okmulgee Rotary Club (center) also hosted their 3rd annual Veterans Breakfast at the Okmulgee Elks Lodge, welcoming veterans and their families for a warm meal and moment of appreciation.
