James L. Martin

May 3, 1933 – November 10, 2024

James L. ‘Jim’ Martin, former Okmulgee resident, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024, in Bryson, Texas after an extended illness.

Jim was born May 3, 1933, in Detroit to the late Simon and Catherine (Sales) Martin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Aarmy and U.S. Army Reserve. His career spanned many years as Program Supervisor for the Junior Achievement Program.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2024, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with Father Kenneth Harder officiating. Interment will follow at Okmulgee Cemetery.

Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on Jim’s Tribute Page at www.mcclendon-winters.com.
