For this installment of the Meet Your Officers series, I had the pleasure of speaking with Firefighter Chris Summers, a dedicated member of the Okmulgee Fire Department with almost three years of service. Chris’s journey to becoming a firefighter began as a surprise even to him, but it has become a calling he describes as “a career path I didn’t know I was meant for.” Today, he balances his commitment to the fire department with his role as a business owner, family man, and community member.
