James L. Martin

May 3, 1933 – November 10, 2024

James “Jim” Martin passed away in Bryson, Texas on November 10, 2024, at the age of 91. He was born on May 3, 1933, in Detroit to Simon and Catherine (Sales) Martin. Jim graduated from Henry Ford Trade School in 1952 and joined the United States Army in 1954. After active service, he transitioned to the U.S. Army Reserves, dedicating a total of eight years to his country.

The family will have a celebration of life at Saint Anthony’s Church at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2024.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on Jim’s Tribute Page at www.mcclendon-winters.com.
