A joint meeting of dairymen, landowners and farm renters took place in the American Legion room of the Council House. The main agenda was to promote greater milk production and establish a better market for milk and its products in Okmulgee County. This collaboration aimed to make dairying more profitable in sections of the county that had previously yielded poor returns from regular farming. The meeting was called by both the dairymen and landowners in a bid to enhance cooperation and improve the dairy industry’s profitability in the region.
