Harold “Buck” Watkins passed away Friday, December 20, 2024, at the age of 86 following a brief illness. He was the son of the late Arthur and Helen Watkins of Morris. Buck was a lifelong resident of Morris. He retired from Natural Gas in 1977. He then went on to live his dream of antique car restoration.
Buck was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Watkins; and son, Brian Watkins.
Survivors include children, Debby Blair and husband, James of Claremore, Cindy Beavers and husband, Rick of Glencoe, Keith Duke and wife, Janice of Bartlesville, Denise Oaks and husband, Austin of Jacksonville, Fla. He also leaves behind his beloved sister, Darlene Bell and her husband, April 27, 1938 – December 20, 2024
Gary of Bixby; several grandchildren; and a host of relatives.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2024, at Town and Country Christian Church in Okmulgee. Rev. Lawrence Matlock and Rev. Kyle Gregorio will officiate. Burial will follow at Morris Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Bob Finley, Floyd Kinsey, Floyd Dixon, Jim Bahling, James Miller and Chad Cox.
